By agreeing to have my photographs taken by Mavidy Studios, I acknowledge that I am giving the Photographer permission to use and reproduce any and all photographs taken of me. This is in accordance with the Australian Copyright Council – Copyright Information Sheet G035.

I understand that I may use the Photographer’s images without modification for my self-promotion and non-commercial personal use. However, I understand that the Photographer, and anyone authorized by the Photographer, retains all other usage rights for all images including commercial purposes.

Mavidy Studios' website is dedicated to Professional Digital Photography. Use of the Mavidy Studios website signifies your agreeing to the terms listed on this web page, along with terms located in our Legal Disclaimer. Mavidy Studios reserves the right to make modifications to any of these policies at any time without notice to it's users.

We ask that you respect the originality of our work, and not take anything without expressed written permission by the owners.

By engaging with Mavidy Studios we expect that you agree to respect our efforts in creating this original website. Therefore, you agree that you will not use any of our HTML or other coding, layout, content, or design elements without permission from the owners of this website. We ask that you do not take any of our news updates and use them on your website without a source back to us, out of common courtesy. Mavidy Studios provides a link to any website where it may gather it's news.

It is not uncommon for Mavidy Studios to receive submissions in the form of art or other original creations from it's users. Once these items are submitted they become the property of Mavidy Studios, and we are free to use them in whatever way we see fit. Credit will always be given to the individual for their creation.

For further elaboration related to issues of liability, with respect to documents available from our server(s), neither Mavidy Studios nor its creator(s), its webhost(s), sponsor(s) and all associated parties makes any warranty, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, or assumes any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, apparatus, product, or process disclosed, or represents that it's use would not infringe privately owned rights.

For all related matters concerning aspects upon the server which specific media is made available, information from this server resides on a computer system funded by the companies and/or parties associated with it. The use of this system may be, and is, monitored for computer security purposes. Any unauthorized access (hacking) to this system is prohibited and is subject to criminal and civil penalties under Federal Laws including but not limited to Public Laws 83-703 and 99-474.

In regards to Mavidy Studios' Wedding Photography Services, we recommend that you read our Wedding Photography Booking Form which is designed to both elicit necessary information for our Wedding Photographers who are looking to serve you on the day as well as make you aware of our Wedding Photography specific Terms of Service which are also communicated below -

01 - The Booking will not be finalized until a $199.00 non-refundable deposit is made in order to secure the date of the Wedding Day Booking. In the event that a Client should cancel a Wedding Photography Booking (in the time between the date of the paid deposit and a date prior to the final full payment which is required at least 2 weeks prior to the Wedding Day), no further monies are payable by the Client however the intial deposit will not be refunded. If the Client should cancel a Wedding Photography Booking after the final payment is made, then 50% of the Package Price less the non-refundable deposit will be refunded back to the Client.

02 - Mavidy Studios Wedding Photographers will make an appointment with the Client approximately 4 weeks before the scheduled Wedding Day to talk about final details. The Meeting should last between 60 to 90 minutes.

03 - At the meeting, one important item that Mavidy Studios Wedding Photographers will ask of the Client is a 'Run Sheet' or 'In-depth Wedding Day Program' highlighting key events and/or key people that the Client specifically wishes to be photographed on the day.

04 - Mavidy Studios Wedding Photographers are subject to obeying the facility / venue's restrictions (including gaining access to particular shooting grounds and/or elevated positions). Hence, we would greatly appreciate having the opportunity to visit each venue at which we are requested to shoot in order to gain a good understanding of where our best positions would be at the specified time of day.

05 - Mavidy Studios would like to make the Client(s) aware that the Client is releasing all usage rights and copyrights of the photos shot on the day by our Photographers to Mavidy Studios due to employing our Photography Services. The Client understands that the Client can use the Photographer's images without modification for any non-commercial personal use. However, the Client hereby authorizes the Photographer and anyone authorized by the Photographer to retain all usage rights for all images including commercial and advertising purposes.

06 - Mavidy Studios will process all photos according to our Editing Team's Artistic Expertise (including airbrushing, retouching, colourations and other digital manipulations) before supplying them to the Client as finished products. Any additional modifications as requested by the Client afterwards can be discussed and quoted separately.

07 - Liability Limits

a) In the unlikely event that the Mavidy Studios Wedding Photographers fall ill and are unable to provide Photography Services on the scheduled Wedding Day, Mavidy Studios will make every attempt to secure Replacement Photographers. However, if we are unsuccessful, the limit of liability would be the full refund of all monies already paid for the Wedding Photography Package.

b) Although Mavidy Studios Wedding Photographers will take every care to transport your Photographs safely, in the unlikely event that the Wedding Photos shot on the day were to be totally or partially lost due to thievery or any other extenuating circumstances including natural disasters, the limit of liability would be a 50% refund of the total Wedding Package Price after full payment has been made by the Client.

08 - Mavidy Studios Wedding Photographers do not take responsibility for the following -

a) The absence of any late or non-appearing persons nominated by the Client to be photographed. As a result, the specified person(s) may not be in a desired photo. There it is recommended that the relevant persons be present for the Client requested shoots. Whilst Mavidy Studios Photographers will make every effort to take photos specified by the Client and according to our artistic expertise, due to extenuating circumstances and the pace of the wedding, we cannot guarantee the success of any specifically requested captures.

b) Unpredictable Weather Conditions which may impact various photographs and photographing opportunities.
